Cellar conversion
Anyone had a cellar conversion? How pricey is it? (cellar is only small, 10ft x 8ft, but has been flooding over winter.) Should I use a general builder, damp proofing firm or a specialist conversion company? I'm guessing the latter will be the most expensive, but I suppose you get what you pay for. Any advice or things to…

I want to put slate tiles in my bathroom over the floorboards. Currently it's carpet with underlay & ply over the floorboards so I have no idea what state they're in.
