rechargeable batteries for AA and AAA batteries. i have looked at some in the argos catalogue (quite pricey i might add) but not sure what this means "the greater the mAh, the greater the performance".
1) any idea where can get them cheaper
2) what is the mAh
3) anything to look out for?
thanks in advance

1) Try here
2) The mAh is the storage capacity in milli ampere hours i.e. a 2600 mAh battery has twice the storage capacity of a 1300 mAh and should last twice a long before needing recharging.
3) Charging time, some cheap and nasty charger need to be left charging overnight. The charger in the link above has "Super safe microprocessor control, fitted with “Delta-V” overload detection, timer protection and reverse polarity protection" and charging takes 1-4 hours depending on the batteries. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I've seen them for sale very reasonably at Markets and car boot sales.
this seems to offer an AA/AAA charger together with 4 powerful AA batteries for about £13
