Goodsphere Essences
Has anyone tried the new essences for the goodsphere as they are only 100ml instead of 250ml in the old bottles for the same price, can you use a smaller amount for the same effect.

How can I get dust/soot marks out of magnolia painted walls?
Ive noticed that I have dark streaks of soot/dust marks on my magnolia painted walls and white ceiling. They are very prominent and look awful! I suspect an open window has caused it but Im really not keen on repainting as the place doesnt really need it just yet - just need to get rid of the soot! I tried using wet wipes…

Instruction Manual
I have looked on the previous thread about manuals but using that link could not find what I am looking for. I have been given a Durabrand PSTB1 freeview box with no instructions, therefore I was wondering if anyone knew who makes these (as nothing comes up for durabrand) so I could phone them or somewhere I could get a…

Goldfish & Trout in a Pond (merged threads)
We have a man made pond at home that already had about 30 big enough goldfish. It is quite a big pond and I believe 3 metres deep. We would be interested in adding some trout so that we could have fresh trout. Is this quite straightforward to do? Will it affect the other fish? What about the quality of water? thanks for…

I'm on about being able to have different radiators at different temperatures or some not on at all (in case I'm using the wrong terminology). Firstly, is this a job for a plumber or can I do it myself? Second, what kind of price am I…

My hot water has lost its hotness!
Hope someone can help me here. Had a combi boiler put in about 18 months ago. It has been a dream and the central heating is perfect and so is the hot water (well it was). Until about 6 weeks ago the hot water would run very hot. When I ran a bath I would run it hot on its own and then add the cold as it would be scalding!…

Range Cooker Dilemma: Will it fit into the gap in the Chimney Breast ???
Right, we have knocked out part of a chimney breast in the kitchen and the internal width we have is ~110cm. This is to take a nice oven. Now then, I've only ever really considered 90cm ones, which would give ~10cm room either side (for pan handles and to not be cramped etc). But the question is this: could I get away with…

Carpet protection help request
Can anyone offer some wise solutions to this dilemma: If a rented house has carpet in the dining room, and potential tenants are hesitant due to the liklihood of small children (who enjoy making a mess with their food) getting the carpet dirty, is there any easy, quick and cheap solution for covering the dining room carpet…
