Pityriasis rosea
Hey my 7 yr old has just been diagnosed with the above skin condition, not asking for medical advice just wondering if anyone else has had experience of this condition and has any tips. Doc has said he can do all that he would normally do, i am just worried about him going back to school and being picked on because of his…

How to find the right perfume?
Hi all, I really want to find a nice new perfume, but don't know how to go about finding something I like. I'm not into floral fragrances, but prefer something deeper (sandalwood/vanilla/patchouli type undertones). Is there a website which will suggest perfumes which are based around these sorts of scents? I find I am just…

Cheap and excellent hair straighteners
Dear All, I am just so delighted I have to share this. I normally use GA.MA hair straighteners with ionic ceramic plates, but dropped a pair causing them to crack. Fed up with the idea of spending another £70 to replace them I did a search on ionic ceramic straighteners on ebay and came up with these: Hair Devils utilise…

Mesotherapy
I have just been for mesotherapy. It consisted of a facial scrub, then applying a vitamin c liquid, then using a derma roller. Has anyone tried this at home? What vitamin C did you use? I went two days ago and my face certainly feels much tighter. Will be going again, but am considering doing it at home.

Temperamental teeth!
Hi, although I don't have toothache right now, I noticed there seem to be a few dentists on here so I thought I'd ask.. Do you have any patients like me? I have the most awful teeth, so much so that I feel embarrassed when I phone my dentist simply because I have to do it so often! I'm sure they think I'm some weirdo who…

Which is the better value for money option re dental work?
I need to lose a tooth but having spent £2k last year on an implant am loathe to do this again. I've been told by my dentist my options are a bridge at £1200 which can wait a little while but will last 8-10 years and then I'll end up losing the bridge and a healthy tooth next to it - 2 spaces to fill. If that happens I'll…

Tweezerman tweezers
Hi, I bought a pair of these a few years ago and now the tips need sharpening. Tweezerman do offer a lifetime guarantee on these and free sharpening but they have to be sent back to America. Has anyone ever done this? I know there is free postage within the US but not sure if it would apply from the UK. Thanks

Hi, don't know if this is the correct place to post this but a while ago I won some cleanse and polish by liz earle, along with the muslin cloths. Naturopath
Has anyone ever visited one? Did it help you? Do they do mainly diet and herbs or do they do lots of weird stuff too? (that kinesiology and reiki stuff I find a little too strange for me). :o Thinking of finding one but it's quite a bit of money for something that is apparently an unregulated industry in the UK and deemed…

looking for a hair accessory....
Years and years ago, my mum used to do my hair where she would put it in a pony tail and 'pull' it down the back. She used a tool to do this (sorry, can't think of anything else to describe it as!) it had a long bit, then a loop at the top that the hair was put in to pull it down. Can anyone remember what these are called…
