Which is the better value for money option re dental work?

I need to lose a tooth but having spent £2k last year on an implant am loathe to do this again. I've been told by my dentist my options are a bridge at £1200 which can wait a little while but will last 8-10 years and then I'll end up losing the bridge and a healthy tooth next to it - 2 spaces to fill. If that happens I'll be in a better position to go abroad and have work done though as at the mo my children are young and we've just spent thousands renovating our house.

Or do the implant which will have to be started immediately although can be paid in installments but will cost £2k.

I resent spending what is £4k on 2 teeth in two years but if I dont will end up paying more in the very long term.

I am in London so no access to nhs dentists hence private price for bridge. I know implant cant be done on the nhs.

On holiday recently in Devon I went to an nhs clinic in Exeter hospital who showed nhs prices for bridges etc. Anyone travelled and done this elsewhere to avoid private prices?

Any advice welcome!
