Food Storage Containers for School
Hello Everyone, Please excuse any faux pas that I make; I am an avid reader of the Forum but have always been to nervous to post. My son who is 3 is starting school in the next few weeks (his 4th birthday is the day he goes to school!) and I need to purchase 2 water bottles and 2 containers (one set for school, one set for…

Coconut Oil ?
Does anyone buy his for everyday cooking not just curries? I have had a look online and it does seem to be a tad expensive £6 for 300ml or £10 for 500ml. Do you get it cheaper and where from please? Thanks

Lidl - pretty poor in the evening
Hi, Decided to try out Lidl for my 'big shop' this week instead of t*sco. I went in around 8pm and to say the shelves were pretty bare would not be an understatement. For example there was barely any fruit left, 2 boxes of raspberries ( left because they were all squished) a yucky box of blueberries ( left because there…

Anyone else's EGGS taste funny?
At first I thought it was just a bad batch. They didn't smell funny while being cooked, but the egg-white tasted horrible, so I threw them away. Then when more tasted the same I tried a bit of the yolk and that was ok. So I went to a different supermarket and bought the eggs with the longest date, and still the egg whites…

Raw milk in Yorkshire?
Does anyone know of anywhere in west yorkshire that supplies organic raw (unpasteurised) milk? There was a dairy in Denby Dale, and he didn't renew his license to continue selling raw milk, I don't know of anywhere else unless I pay ridiculously high rates and get it delivered from south of London somewhere. Thanks!

2 Dine for £10 misprint in Co-op
Just been in my local co-op and was looking at 2 Dine for £10 offer. ( 1 main, a side, a dessert and a bottle of wine) On larger shelf sign, there is an asterisk by the £10 and when you read small print it actually says: Choose 2main meals, a side, dessert and bottle of wine for £10! Needless to say they hastily removed…

Sainsbury's delivery pass a bargain
Worth a look if you regularly spend over £40 online at Sainsbury's. We get a weekly shop most of the time. The deal is that you buy an annual delivery pass, we got it at a discount, and then you do not have to pay for any delivery slot for the full year. Think it cost us about £40 and we have already recouped that cost…

Good juice drinks for kids
Hi, I've 2 kids aged 8.5 and 3.99 (nearly 4). Both of them love juice drinks over water. We live quite close to Asda and Tesco, so I used to buy whatever juice was on offer like Capri Sun, Fruit Shoot, Tropicana, Innocent, and big cartons of Rubicon, Del Monte etc. When their teeth started eroding slightly, I showed them…

What did you find out about Morrisons after using your £5 vouchers?
I hardly ever shop in Morrisons, but the offer of free fruit and veg was too good to turn down. So I greedily (admittedly) bought ten copies of the Sun and used them all up over the weekend just gone. Now this latest marketing ploy must have cost Morrisons millions. But some brightspark must have though it would be worth…
