Raw milk in Yorkshire?
Does anyone know of anywhere in west yorkshire that supplies organic raw (unpasteurised) milk? There was a dairy in Denby Dale, and he didn't renew his license to continue selling raw milk, I don't know of anywhere else unless I pay ridiculously high rates and get it delivered from south of London somewhere. Thanks!

Here are a few links. The nearest one to you is Wheelbirks who are in Northumberland. The others are further south, but do deliveries.
Foulgers Dairy (Suffolk)
John's Jerseys (Herefordshire)
Hook and Son (East Sussex)
Also, have you tried Bigbarn?0 -
I'm curious as to why anyone would want unpasteurised milk? What are the benefits?0

Based on fifteen years experience in the Dairy Industry and 30+ years as a Microbiologist I tell you don't consume unpasteurised milk...doing so has killed people. E. coli 0157.0

A friend buys her raw milk from York Farmers' market. Do an internet search for the next time the markets are on at York.0

Factually incorrect unfortunately.
I totally agree, especially as it said the same thing as you. Have you read the rubbish it says?
"there were also health risks with drinking raw milk. These were particularly tuberculosis, brucellocis, and bad bacteria such as Salmonella, E. coli and Campylobacter."
and
"Long-held safety concerns over pathogens found in unpasteurised milk mean that it is banned in Scotland, and banned from shops and supermarkets in England, Northern Ireland and Wales."
and
"the risks from drinking unpasteurised milk are just too great".
As you say "Factually incorrect unfortunately".0
