Hi

Seen this on hotukdeals but not posted here. The co - op are selling Truly Irresistible Mature Cheddar 340g for £4.50 with a buy one get 2 free offer.

I got mine in Buxton which is only a small shop but it had posters outside advertising it so I assume its nationwide

<£4.50/kg is a good price for cheese.

Is it truly irresistible, though? ;)

4.41 a kg is really cheap and should be fine for sarnies especially toasted ones with red onions!!

Not too bad at all, we bought our packs yesterday, so I can look forward to my cholesterol levels going through the roof:D
It isn't like the top end cheddars - Quickes etc., but is nice and mellow, rich and creamy.
I reckon it would be good grated, in sarnies (with red ionion or pickle), in quiche or on top of any mashed potato dish.
