The problem with Smart Meters
Following government and local authoritys urging us to reduce our carbon footprints for the sake of the planet I decided to have a smart meter installed. From all advice I got and research I did, I was given to understand that by monitoring my energy, in this case electricity, I would be able to see which appliances and…

My power bill
To whom it concerns, I signed up over 2 years ago with Scottish Power.. I live in a pretty small flat in Edinburgh in Scotland. They promised an attractive tariff which, with projections of my existing metre readings they estimated that an annual bill should be around £500- £600 sterling per annum. I was receiving and…

ELECTRICITY SUPPLIER SWITCHING
Is it really worth me continuing to switch annually to a much-reduced monthly direct debit, only to have it doubled the minute my usage increases in cold weather? is there a company that doesn't do that, but assumes you will make up the 'in debit' balance during the summer months??
