Hi, When my previous deal was coming to an end, British Gas offered me something called Exclusive Fix Mar 2022. Whilst not quite the best, it was pretty close and so I moved to that. I'm unable to choose that deal on the cheap energy club site however as it doesn't seem to exist. Anyone had the same or am I being completely stupid!
Cheers
Mark

Could it just be that the CEC has been excluded from Exclusive Fix? (Hint: the clue is in the name.)0

Hi,maybe 'Exclusive' was for existing customers only.0

I think you have both got the wrong end of the stick, OP is trying to enter it as their current tariff for a comparison.Have you tried another comparison site ? MSE CEC is quite honestly pretty naff in both what they offer and what the will accept as your current tariff1

This was the case for a long time for Neon Reef, despite it being a publicly available tariff that most other PCWs happily recognised.Similarly, if you said you were an existing Avro customer the CEC wouldn't show you any cheaper Avro tariffs.0

Hi,he's maybe shopping around hoping to get cashback on his 'Exclusive' offer.0

Hi, thanks for all the responses. I was just trying to update with my new tariff, rather than being told I'm on the standard rate and could be saving loads of money! I've found the checker useful in the past but if I can't compare with my current tariff, it all seems a bit pointless. It is disappointing that you can't add the details for yourself when they aren't available.

To be honest it’s much better to just input your accurate annual usage in and then look at the unit rate and standing charge compared to your current tariff and can quite easily see if it’s a good deal or not0
