Switch to British Gas, will my smart meter work
Hi
I have a smart meter which was originally installed by E-on. I belive its a Smets2 meter. Its an Landys+Gear E470 Type 5394.
I later switched to EDF and the meter continued to be "Smart" with no problems.
I now considering switching to BG. I belive as its a Smets2 meter it should wotk fine with BG. But i have heard that BG cant or wont connect to E-on meters. Does anyone have any experince with this?

If it has survived a switch to EDF then the BG should be a doddle. Also BG use L&G meters for their own installations, so that further goes in favour of a smooth transfer.
