Incorrect EON markers on credit report stopping a mortgage
Hi All, I am currently trying to get a mortgage and the mortgage company will not complete a full assessment due to markers from EON on my credit report. I was not aware of these markers as I have never missed a payment to EON. Since downloading my credit report I have found a number of markers on my credit file from EON.…

Crossed Meters
Hello, I recently had my boiler changed and part of the process involved the engineer doing a test to check that the gas was flowing correctly. When he went to do the test he identified that the meter we had been assigned was the wrong one. It had been mixed up with another flat in the complex. Now, both flats were built…

Green Incentive
I currently have a double glazed conservatory which is over 20 years old. All of the windows are blown. Therefore they are no longer efficient. According to what I have just read you cannot replace double glazing if you already have it. I assume this will include blown double glazing windows as well. Your thoughts please

Who owns my Solar Panel Lease?
I've only just found out the Rent-a-Roof scheme lease holders for the Solar Panels on my Roof went in to liquidation a few years ago. The comapny was called Idea Howme Group PLC based in Ringwood. I am assuming that a new company has taken the lease over to claim the Feed in Tariff, but if they have they have they haven't…

You still need to pay £40.11 for the electricity you've used
Tenents moved out of our place on the 29th, I took the final reading and gave it to my new supplier. Now, at the end of the month I get a demand from NPower claiming I owe this money to them. I've not used Npower and I have no idea what our tenants were on. Anyone?

Should i switch or just put up with variable?
From Sept 1st my current energy fix will come to an end and i will go onto a variable rate. I would usually shop around for another fixed deal. BUT My home is now sale agreed. Not found the next house yet (fingers crossed I will soon). It could be months before we move; i'd rather not pay above the odds for gas and…

Topcashback and together energy
Been waiting for cash of together energy for many months not a penny. Stay well away from this deal. I'm considering taking legal action against TopCashback and together energy as they have made my mental health a lot worser. When you set up a support ticket they take weeks to reply. This caused me to take an overdose.…

Problems with billing - Bulb Energy
I wondered if anyone else has had problems with Bulb Energy and how they managed to resolve the issue. I received a communication from Bulb Energy that my account was in debt for £190.00 rather than having to increase my monthly payments by £60.00. I was advised that the amount was now clear. A month later, I received…

Running up credit on electricity bill but provider has block on minimum monthly payments
I have twice contacted Bulb to ask them to remove a block of £72 on my minimum monthly payments. The reason is my credit keeps reaching unacceptable levels. This month my bill was for £52.46. I am already in credit for £99.04 and they are taking an additional £80 from my account. I would have been in credit for £199.83 had…

Spark energy, very irritating
Has anybody had any experience with this company. They appear to lie, gave them 2 readings and they say they will amend my bill, after 1 week they are drawing money from my account by direct debit or else they use a money collection company. Even tried to install a smart meter but the engineer did not turn up. The flat has…

Free solar panels - the fall out
Hi all! I'm interested in seeing how many people have fallen foul to the free solar panels/rent-a-roof schemes of a few years ago. At the time they seemed great but I wonder how many people are now suffering as a result? Seems to me that, in reality, people were tempted by this promise of cheaper electric at no cost to…
