AVRO Energy
Looking at changing from OVO to AVRO. I've had no problems with OVO but their renewal prices are so high! AVRO energy prices look good (although I will lose my Smart meter facility) but I wondered if any of you would be happy to share your experience of AVRO before I finally decide. Thank you

MSErs' Award for 2016
I have long thought that MSErs should put forward nominees for the accolade of 'Most Helpful Supplier Representatives' in any given year. My nominees for 2016 would be Helena and Mac from E.oN who throughout 2016 have provided excellent customer service to MSErs whilst, at the same time, never failing to apologise for the…

Early exit fee dilema!
I'm looking to switch dual fuel from British Gas, hoping that I wouldn't have to pay the early exit fees (I'm out of the country when my contract expires) as there is less than 50 days to end of contract but it appears that because it was a collective switch this doesn't apply! I've found a switch to First Utility on…

"SGN GAS SAY" In the event of an incident, we do our utmost to restore gas supplies as quickly as possible. Advice on disputing gas bill
Before my flat was sold it was empty for 3 months yet I have received a bill for £148 for this period. The gas wasn't on yet more gas has been "used" than we - a family of four - used in 3 months. The electricity meter is equally way over the top (I'd left the stove clock on and the lights were used occasionally for…

Sottish Power being utterly useless
 Start of 2015 I received letters from Scottish Power saying 'Welcome to your new gas account!'* They didn't have my name on them, simply said 'Dear Owner/Occupier' * There is no gas connection at this property (electric only) * I've never had any dealings with Scottish Power. I contacted them to point out their error…

Hello, I am currently with Extra Energy and live in a block of flats. Panel Heater - How do they work
Hi all My new flat has two panel heaters and a storage heater. I'm a little bemused by the panel heaters as they seem to have a thermostat knob and two switches and are turned on by the wall. There doesn't seem to be an off/switch other than at the wall, so are these manual and how long should they be on for and do I have…

We'be just had a person come to our door and 'persuade' us into using a company called moneyexpert.com to get a cheaper energy tariff.
