To the E-On reps
We saw you on here on one of the shots on The Complainers last night - definite very very very green forum in evidence there! Didn't see anyone I knew though - not that I was watching for that reason alone!

Estimated Final readings
Switched from Scottish power to Npower on 8/04/2014 and gave the end/start readings to Npower.A month later they sent me a bill using estimated start readings. I phone them with the correct readings and in the meantime SP send me an estimated bill. I ring SP and give them the correct readings but they still wont give me a…

Estimated bill for 10 years...
I recently moved my dads gas and electricity supply. It has arose that although he has had regular visits from the meter readers (he has seen them read both meters), only the gas readings have ever been updated. The electricity has been estimated. He now has a bill over £1300 for the electricity used over the past 10…

Changing from business to private electric
We have a property which was a commercial building and we have converted it to a bungalow. British Gas took over the supply of electricity from EDF in error but said they couldn't change it back (this was some years ago). BG now say that we are being charged at commercial rate and to change it to domestic will cost. The…

NPower : The biggest RIP-OFF supplier?
I've switched suppliers numerous times over the years. Each time I've switched back to NPower I've noticed that within 6 months they automatically put up my my direct debit payments. I then have a huge credit on my bill later down the line as I switch to a better deal with another supplier. As no other energy supplier I've…

Crossed Electricity Meters - Help?
OK, deep breath... I've been living in my new-build flat now for two years. Since I've been here, I've always been aware that my electricity bills have been high (to the point where after only three months I received an electricity bill for a shortfall of around £200). I complained and the outstanding amount was wavered.…

Saving on Electricity
Seems like it'll be done for us if this is a true reflection of where we are going to be this winter. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-27779815 If there isn't any to use i guess they can't make you pay for it? 330Megawatts works out as about a large power station they are trying to save (or we are short by).

Interim charges with different supplier
I've been abroad for a year and came home on April 2nd. On March 1st I signed up with First Utility for gas and electricity, thinking this would be plenty of time for them to switch my supply over. Unfortunately it took them until April 26th and I have now received a bill from Eon for my usage between April 2nd and April…

On going billing problem with Scottish Power. I cannot recommend this company!
The ineptitude of Scottish Power continues. My meter readings have NOT been shown on my latest bill - the readings are shown as estimated. What's worse is I spent 59 minutes on the phone trying to sort this out. A complete waste of time.

Npower - taking 3 + months to change tariff
Hi there, I know there is a lot of stuff going on with Npower being slow with everything at the moment. I'm still with them, but I changed my tariff with them over 3 months ago. However my most recent bill doesn't reflect this at all and my online account still states I'm on the standard rates. I contacted them and they…

Npower changing bills from quarterly
Not with Npower anymore, but my neighbour is and she has received a letter today to say that they are changing from quarterly meter readings and bills to biannually

Help with new immersion heater cost?
My parents, who are in their 70's, currently have no hot water due to a faulty immersion heater. They have been told the fault is with the heating element which is now obsolete and they will have to get a new water tank. I'm aware there are various discounts offered and schemes, HHCRO and the likes, to replace gas boilers…

Unable to sign up to FirstUtility on-line....?
Yesterday I tried to switch to FirstUtility on-line. (Various comparison sites are advising that this is my best option, with a reasonable saving over my current nPower account). TopCashback are offering £42 cash back, so of course I went via the TCB site. However, after entering all my information, I get an error message…

Renting a place with a fixed price with electricity paid for ?
Do you guys know if there is anywhere I can rent and just put my computers there running and pay a fixed price of electricity every month? I am using roughly around £250 on my electricity bills on my computers and am looking to expand this so was looking to see if there are any ways to "save money"

Economy 7, hot water cylinder, on/off?
Hello, Has anyone in a flat ever tried turning their hot water cylinder off during the day, and just heating it at night (during Economy 7 cheaper times)? Not sure if it is a good idea or not, and DH thinks it will take more energy to heat up cooled water, instead of keeping it hot all the time. Our hot water cylinder…

npower ongoing issues
To cut a long story right, npower took over a year to provide a correct bill. Needless to say it was huge and I couldn't pay in one go. I submitted a formal complaint - never received a response. Spoke to an advisor on phone about a payment plan, was never called back. Bill is now less than half the original amount but…

Npower Refund
After I read MSE article, Reclaim energy bill refunds. It wares consumers that your previous supplies may be safe guarding excess cash on our behalf and not informing you, and we should contact these suppliers for refunds; I called Npower in May 2014 regarding this, even though I transferred from them to Scottish Power in…
