Seems like it'll be done for us if this is a true reflection of where we are going to be this winter.

If there isn't any to use i guess they can't make you pay for it?

330Megawatts works out as about a large power station they are trying to save (or we are short by).

This has been caused by corrupt politicians cashing in on the Ecomentalists cult of man made global warming, resulting in investment in useless windmills rather than gas/oil/coal/nuclear power stations that actually generate a useful amount of electricity.

    ............and we are off:D
That gum you like is coming back in style.

This may be like a red rag to a bull from penrhyn, but unfortunately the bulls have more intelligence.

Don't know about their usefulness on producing electricity, but I've got to say I do like the look of a good wind farm, particularly the turbines by the side of the M1 (just south of Sheffield I think). They always turn my head when I go past. The sleekness of the body, the mesmerising turn of the blades. If my garden was more than 10ft by 16 ft, I'd offer to let them put one in there. Not to worry, I've heard the americans have cracked nuclear fusion, so they'll either blow us all up, or free electricity for all by 2020.
