E-on electricity only bill-excuse my ignorance
As I said in the title before you read this, please excuse my ignorance:o Back when I moved into this flat a year ago e-on sent me a whopping electricity bill for 350 quid after re registering me in my name. That got sorted(after about 6 months) and in my opinion I still overpaid a bit but it got sorted so that was that. I…

Hi, When using ESwitch and MoneySupermarket I am seeing a price of around £960 for EON dual fuel. However when I go to their website I get a price of around £880 as they include an 8% discount that the comparison sites do not seem to. I check the comparison sites and they say they do include discounts. What should I…

Electric bill on storage heating
Hi there, we moved into a rented flat at end of Nov which has storage heaters and is on economy 7 tariff with npower. This seems very high to me, although it was an exceptionally cold month and we had to top up…

Best Tariffs for Second and Holiday Homes
I apologise if this question has been asked somewhere else in the forum. I have just bought a flat in the UK as a second home (I normally live in France). The property will be empty for about 9 months a year. Whilst I am not there the electricity will still be on but will only be powering very small items. I would be most…

Comparison website prices
Do the comparison websites use current prices or prices that have been announced but not yet implemented? In other words British Gas, E.On, Scot & Southern, Scottish Power & Npower have all announced price hikes at different dates, some not yet effective. Are these new rates included in the suggested tariffs?

I would like to bring to the attention of all those with N Power to check and see if they have been put onto the Standard Tariff like I was when Sign online 21 came into force at the beginning of January. uSwitch quote much lower than other Energy comparison sites
Hi, inputted my yearly consumption into: uswitch, energylinx, gocompare and energyhelpline. The latter 3 all gave savings of a similar amount - approx £250 but uswitch only gave a saving of £100. This seems odd given that uswitch are the most well known comparison provider...?

British Gas being unfair
