Energy bills - possibly 40% up this winter!!!
BBC reporting this as lead story. Notice letters out this August. Energy companies hit by huge wholesale price increases. It's starting to get a bit scary with this and the food price increases. Huge US crop failure this year too because of the floods. :( http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7461635.stm

I am told it would be cheaper to top up a bit often than heating the full tank a couple of times a day? I am also on economy 7 heating and have the boiler heating up at about 4am so i…

Paperless gas bills
  Has anyone had the e-mail we have virtually blackmailing us into having paperless bills? They're telling us it's 'convenient, free and reduces waste'. What's more they (British Gas) threaten to change us from the tariff we're on to their Standard tariff if we don't accept this within 7 days! They seem to…

Looking to switch but sums just don't add up...
Hi, I recently went to a few utilities switching sites for gas and electric and was given the good news that i could save "upto" £211. Ethical issue with British Gas
I moved to a new build last november, and as part of this process, the estate agent was supposed to arrange for my gas supply through BG.
