Immersion heater
Can anyone help me? My immersion heater was making a funny noise and the switch got really hot! The tank is a decent size but there is never enough water for a bath and when I have a bath I usually have to leave it to heat twice to get a decent hot bath. It used to be on a timer, but that kept making a funny noise and the…

Cheapest way to heat small amount of water
In the mornings I only need a small amount of hot water (about half a pint). Now is it cheaper to just boil this amount in the kettle or run the tap until the boiling water comes out? (Have a Combi boiler). I sort of think the kettle would be cheaper than running the boiler long enough to get this amount of hot water?…
