moved into property in feb 2007 contacted electric supplier.gave final meter reading for previous tenant who had passed away. have never recieved any bills or communication off supplier.last week 9thjune a meter reader turned up to read electric meter.will we have to pay for electricity used.

They can back charge you for 1 year.
So from 9 June 2007.
They should estimate pro-rata the proportion from June 2007 to June 2008 and the amount from Feb 2007 to June 2007 will be written off.0
