Reference request
Evening, I've been asked to fill in a reference for someone and in the employers section (not me!) it asks how many days parental leave have been taken during employment. Is this a standard thing? Honestly intrigued, as it's not something I've encountered before. Cheers!

Advice/Financial help to retrain after redundancy?
Hi, A friend of mine is being made redundant in September. She has had the job since she was 16, and has no qualifications to help her get a new job. Tax code 937L correct.
Hi, OH's tax code for 2nd may is 937L. Has anyone any idea why? I was expecting it to be 1000L changing from 944L on the previous slip. She is paid 4 weekly and there was a little backpay as well due to the timings. Is this the reason? Will it be 1000L next wage as expected. Cheers.

Hey there humans, so apparently I missed a Work Focused Interview in Jan this year. The thing is, I didn't receive the letter because the person I'm a carer for threw it out (She's out of control. Taking notes into an interview - would/should you?
I've taken a list of questions into an interview before in case I forget them at the end. I always ask if I can refer to them and it always seems OK. However, a few people (both interviewees and interviewers) have suggested taking general notes into the interview and referring to them when asked questions. Does anyone have…

JSA "credits only" claim - do I still qualify for other help?
Hi, I have been unemployed since the end of 2012 and claiming JSA. However I just moved in with my partner and, because he works full time, I'm no longer eligible for any payment of IB-JSA. Currently I'm still signing on to collect my NI credits and so I'm technically a "claimant". My question is, can I still get help with…
