New Job - What Would You Do?

Firstly, I am super excited, I got a job I have been trying to get in this area for the last 6 years :-)
The new job is for 19 hours a week slightly better hourly rate than my old one.
There are however a few things i'm confused about. My current job is 30 hours a week, so i'll be losing 11 hours. I'm going to speak to my current boss tomorrow to see if they can let me stay on for 10 hours a week (current job is very flexible with students etc so i'm hoping it won't be a problem, however it is at the manager's discretion).
I've punched the numbers into entitled to with the scenario of if I just have the 1 new job or have 2 jobs (old + new). Either way I'd break out even.
If I was only to have the new job, i'd have to reduce DS2 nursery from 5 days to 3. This would make me break out even as I am now.
Do I try my best to keep the 2 jobs or should I just focus on the new job? I've had a look into the tax cods etc & with both jobs i'd come out just under 11k a year (7.1k in the new job and 3.7k from the old one). I believe you can ask HMRC to split your tax allowance over more than one job so you don't get battered on tax.
The other thing is, if they were to let me stay on my old job, I wouldn't need to give any notice & could start job 2 asap. If not they may make me work a month's notice.
Lastly, if I was to just have the 1 new job, it would mean I get 2 full days with DS2 that I have never had. This sounds like heaven but as i've always worked either full time or pretty close to it i'm not sure how much of an adjustment it would be for us all?
I'm a single parent by the way; boys are 6 and almost 3 years old.
I was hoping to initially work both jobs and then if I really can't cope I could quit my old job and focus on the new one.
What would you do?

If you can keep the 10 hours then do so even if you decide to drop it later. Better to drop it than realise later you needed it.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0
