Was this an auction or buy it now
My grandson collects trading cards, i bid on an auction last night with numerous pictures of cards. After i won?? the auction, i was asked by the seller as to which card i wanted, the description (which i didnt read) stated the cards were 40p each. How can you list items as an auction and then want a single price for each…

My first neutral :-\
Actually could have avoided it because buyer was asking for a part refund on a 2nd hand item of clothing because 'it arrived with mildew on it'. I would only offer a full refund despite numerous emails from the buyer. I knew it was coming, was I wrong to stick to my guns?!

Postage when buyer lives very close to me!!!
Hi I am not a particularly experienced seller, I just sell things now and then and have gained good feedback. One of my items has just ended and whilst addressing the packet I have discovered that the buyer lives down the road. Infact i would probably have to drive/walk past their house to get to the post office! Its a…

Postage problem
I recently purchased an item from ebay and the postage cost was £7 for RM standard parcels, but when it arrived it had been posted 2nd class post at £2.16. Now my question is should I send a nice message saying about the different type of postage and ask for a part refund, but if they refuse can I report them to ebay for…

International buyer wants me to split pair of boots for postage
Hi, Im selling a pair of boots on ebay which could go for up to £60 (I hope) I had an enquiry about posting to Germany but because they have a volumetric weight of over 3kg and the dimensions of the box are quite big it would cost around 20 odd quid. I know its not a massive amount of money but wanted some sort of…

Unfair feedback again!
Hi All, I see alot of eBay sellers posting on here about unfair feedback, so I thought i'd also come and vent my frustrations! I sold a product on eBay with free P&P and the buyer left neutral feedback saying "Good product but took ages to get here" referring to the delivery. I like people giving me candid feedback but on…

PayPal / eBay problems - PLEAS ADVISE!
Greetings! Okay guys, this is going to be a long post so thank you in advance for taking out the time to read this! I started trading on eBay in December 2008. For the last two and a half years we traded peacefully selling DVDs to Australian customers and making £200-£400 per month. We had a small problem with PayPal at…

Should I agree to send a fragile item to Australia?
Hi Title says it all really... I am selling an old item of pottery on ebay and have been asked (well begged actually!) if I would send to Australia. While I don't have a problem sending to Australia (have done plenty of times before with clothes and all has been fine), I am concerned that no matter how well it was packaged…

Ebay item not collected - came back this morning
I sold an item late September and the buyer was slow to pay - only paid when I opened an unpaid item claim. I sent the item the day after payment was received and the post office attempted to deliver it on 6th October - it was to be 'signed for' and was too big to go through the letterbox. The item then sat at the sorting…

Item not as described
I read a few posts on similar situations, but haven't really got my answer! I bought a dress from a seller which has beading detail, the seller described it as only worn once and put no faults. When I received the dress I was expecting a couple of beads to be missing, but there was a significant amount missing. I contacted…

Recorded delivery cost for XBox game?
Does anyone have this info to hand please? I meant to find out today but forgot. After having several items 'get lost in the post' before I only want to send recorded from now on. I have the packaging, so if I charged £2.00 postage would that cover recorded delivery?

Annoying watchers
Isn't it annoying when you get 9 watchers on an item and the auction ends without a sale ? It's not like it's a rare or highly collectible item or anything. Ruddy annoying making you think you will have bidders. Shame you can't get your own back on them.

What are your best Ebay bargains?
Just wondering what cheap goods people have got off Ebay and thought it might be nice to share. My top one would be a gorgeous black Versace cocktail dress for £16.50 with free P&P, also had some really cheap Clinique lipsticks. I also got my mum a limited edition 8gb iPod for £22 which only needed reformatting.

dealfun auction site
Is it worth joining up? I want a new TV and it seems ok - they have a deal where you get a guaranteed 'win' in your first 24 hours or they refund your bid cost (£89 package for 165 bids with the guarantee). Or are these things really too good to be true and a con?
