Hi My friend living in Birmingham and she claimed for PIP, today she received a letter about appointment time. unfortunately appointment place is on Stoke-on-Trent , Is it a usual thing that they ask someone with mobility to go another city ? it is 50 mile away from home. PIP Mobility Criteria - Court of Appeal
I note that the Court of Appeal is today hearing the challenge to the 20m criteria for PIP enhanced mobility awards. It'll be interesting to see what their Lordships findings are on this case and if they decide the SoS acted lawfully in reducing it from the previous 50m DLA threshold.
