Care cost cap

It's been officially announced the care cost cap has been put back from 2016 to 2020. Many experts now say it is dead since the living wage is to be funded, and four years is a long time for a "commitment" in politics.
A headline grabbing promise of manna tomorrow swiftly reneged on.
ps it would only have benefited a small number of people in care since covering only nursing costs and not hotel costs, so the vast majority with the average stay in care would not have come close to saving any money anyway. Lesson - don't believe the headlines.

Oh I think it'll come in. The politics behind it is sound - bring in big headlines about big savings for people right before a general election and hope they've forgotten the big headlines about big losses for people.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
