[Can child benfit/tax credits still be claimed for a 19 year old? Young person was accpected into the college before their 19th birthday. They will be residential during the week so home at weekends and during holidays.

Have answered on your other thread but you didn't mention the residential part as this may make a difference.
First of all you need to check if this is the type of education that makes you eligible to continue claiming tax credits and child benefit.
Next you need to consider the requirement to be 'normally living with' criteria. There are slightly different rules for child benefit and child tax credits.
Where will your daughter be living? How is this being paid for?
I suspect that you will need to telephone both child benefit and child tax credits to get an answer.0
