Vat exemption

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has got good vat knowledge the reason why is my wife is having a shed built for the sole use of keeping her mobility scooter and wheelchair secure as there is not enough room to store it in the property I've asked the company we're purchasing the shed from there reply was only on ramps and handrails.

Please help.

a shed isn't a disability adaptation. it can be used vy anybody for anything.

I had a n extention built for a downstairs toilet & shower. I asked my builder about VAT exemption for disability and he said he didn't work with those guidelines. I think not many builders know about it ( or claim not to)
