Free from debt...
Can I just say to all those that are unfortunate enough to find themselves nailed to the wall with debt, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I got into real trouble in my early 20's after I got divorced and found out my ex had literally wiped me off the financial map. I had nothing, and I was thousands of pounds in…

Childs Nursery say I owe money - but I don't??
Hi I wonder if anyone can help please? My childs (Old) nursery are stating I still owe them money. It is now 10 months since we left that nursery…

I currently have £400 on the Credit card which I have been paying…

Am I legally obliged to pay Debt collector with no CCA
I'm in a position where a creditor has signed over a debt to a Debt collection agency yet have no CCA. I don't have a contract with the DCA and not not likely to agree to one either as they charge a fee. LLoyds have said they don't have a CCA because they're only obliged to hold one for 6 years. This seems lame to me as…

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. Men reduce debts by shaving under arms?
I'm looking to save money to kick start my drive to reduce debts. My new idea is to save money on deodorant by shaving under my arms. I've not tried it yet but may give it a try tonight. Are women OK with guys who share off their arm pit hair? Is it sexy, strange or just clean?

Default question
This may sound like a really daft question - how do you know if you have a default on an account? The reson is - I have checked my credit file and can't find anything that says I have had a default applied. I had a lot of trouble with a Halifax card and can't seem to find out if they applied a default. Sorry if this is a…

Hi I cleared my debt to Nationwide (via their debt collector) on the last day of December 2010. Experian is still showing the amount as outstanding debt. I am very frustrated because the lender has their money yet they take their time in passing on the info to the credit reference agencies. I feel that all the effort to…
