Equidebt / EQL (Whatever they decide to call themselves today!) - F&F Help!

Well...I've set up some monthly payments for most of my outstanding debts (the big ones anyway...the small ones can wait a while!).
Equidebt are included and I'm paying them £20 a month with a £2779.05 balance.
I've only paid 1 month so far and they've been hounding me with phone messages for the last week so I called them back (I wouldn't normally return DCA messages but I knew everything was in order so wasn't a problem).
They are having a "full and final settlement campaign" (hilarious I know...their words, not mine!)
They offered me 50% full and final settlement and would have accepted payments over 4 months as well.
Now, I have the money that I could pay them and I know I would never pay over the phone without having it in writing anyway but thought if they can offer 50% straight away without any negotiation then I wonder what I could get them down to?
I was thinking of sending them a nicely worded letter thanking them for their very generous offer but letting them know my position hasn't changed but the parents (or some other kind benefactor!) has offered to pay X amount to clear it...was thinking 25%.
As Equidebt is so big I thought someone else out there may have had experience of what they got them to agree on - what % did you get them down to?
And if anyone is interested and has the cash to settle their accounts, it seems like now is the time to do it!
