Using bank accounts of banks you owe money to
I have a current account with a bank I owe money to. I have arrangements with them to pay back what I owe, and that plan has been running for about 2 and a half years. The current account is still running as normal and it just sits there. We'd like to start using it, as we may be able to get the cheque books back (it's…

Coppers and small silver coins
Do any of you save your coppers and/or small change? I save mine, nearly all the change in my purse gets thrown in. I normally end up taking the £1 coins and 50ps out for the shop, car parks etc but the rest normally stays there. Last night i counted up £92 and paid it onto one of my CC! I've still got a jar to work…

Credit Card Payment Protection
I am in a stable job, (hopefully Royal Mail). Is paying £27 a month in payment protection on my £3000 credit card bill worth the expense. At the moment I can afford to make payments of £125 a month but £67 of this is PPI and interest. So without ppi I would be paying more of the debt each month. Any suggestions.

Things like selling Avon, delivering 'phone books or stuffing envelopes. I've been out of work for sometime (for a good reason) and the debts have…

Debts being carried forward to next of kin?
Hi there, I was just posting this question as my girlfriend as she mentioned it the other day and wasn't too sure on what to comment. Basically, her natural father left her family, got divorced and now lives somewhere else (he never keeps in touch). The only fear forher is that (unlike me!) she's very wise with spending…
