Bank of Scotland Loyalty Credit Card (1990s)
Did anyone else have a Bank of Scotland loyalty Credit Card in the 1990s? I did (mine was Coventry City) and I'm sure there was an element of PPI in the monthly charges - however BofS do not acknowledge this card ever existed. If anyone remembers one and has any documentation (for example, T&Cs) I would be extremely…

Lloyds BT CC: Has anyone ever had problems getting their promotional fee & cashback?
Hi all I posted recently to see what my likelihood was of getting the 33 month deal rather than 18 month deal with the Lloyds BT credit card. Well, I went ahead and applied and got the 33 months so am very pleased with that. The two things which made it worthwhile for me were: - 0.57% transfer fee. - £20 cashback after…

Credit and Balance transfers
Hi all, I've recently been sent an offer by my bank for a 27 months balance transfer deal with a low fee (but not market winning), but this prompted me to shop around a bit and explore other deals on offer. My problems are thus: 1) I've recently applied for a mortgage. This has been accepted and an offer extended. We…

Unsure what to do.
I'm currently on AP arrangement with Barclaycard and have been for 2 years, though I find it odd they have put 3 OK's between the years when payments never changed and then back to AP, I'm guessing that's away to keep me pinned for 6 years continuous? Anyway I don't know if to default my account, my wife has an IVA due to…

Missed credit card payment due date by accident - consequences?
Hello all, I accidentally missed the payment due date for a capital one credit card. The balance was £50, with a £5 minimum, due yesterday on Sunday 4/11. I received a text today, on Monday 5/11, logged in and noticed this. I immediately paid the entire balance by debit card. It notes this will take a day or two to appear…

Clearing PayPal Credit
I wanted to get a 30 month 0% credit card to make some purchases and clear my PayPal Credit Account. However, I’ve just realised that I don’t think you can use a credit card to clear the PayPal debt. I’ve £1000 in there - what would be the best way to go about clearing this?

Made payments to the wrong account, what can I do?
Hello, I've been paying my Santander credit card off from my Bank of Scotland account using the 09-00-99 0100007 account details with my credit card number as the case reference. I'd been doing this for a while as a standing order. Last month, I got a call to say that I'd not made my payment. I made another payment using…

Lloyds BT CC: If I'm offered lower amount of mths how will turning it down affect me?
Hi all I am looking for a new BT credit card and after going through the MSE article I think the Lloyds one (up to 33 months 0%, 0.57% Fee) suits me best. The fee is low, the length of time great, and the repayment amount (1% rather than the 2.25%/2.5% competitors charge) is fantastic! :) The only downside is that some…

John Lewis partnership card
Does anyone know how long John Lewis finance take to decide an application for a partnership card? I applied online last week (29/10) and when I checked today it still gave the message that they are considering my application. How long should I leave it before calling them? I have no reason to believe I may be rejected.

Vanquis overcharging me I think!
Ive had a vanquis card now for some time and its proving almost impossible to pay off. I decided to chop it up and see if that helped, an obvious solution to stop spending anyhow. The fees still keep coming every month....purchase fees and cash advance fees....i thought they were just for if you keep using the card? I…

Lloyd's Credit Card Application
It has been suggested that before making an application for a Lloyd's credit card it is worth talking to someone in branch as they can usually see on their system/your customer records whether you are eligible. I had reason to be in branch last week and asked about the possibility of obtaining a card. The cashier said that…

MBNA will no longer issue airline credit cards from 7th November. For anyone that already has an Emirates Skywards card, what is the most likely thing to happen?
