Vanquis overcharging me I think!

Ive had a vanquis card now for some time and its proving almost impossible to pay off. I decided to chop it up and see if that helped, an obvious solution to stop spending anyhow. The fees still keep coming every month....purchase fees and cash advance fees....i thought they were just for if you keep using the card? I understand the interest will still be charged and the full amount still outstanding....but surely all these other charges are for an active credot card. I have another card that is in almost exactly the same position, the full balance is due, but since ive stopped using the card i dont get fees for purchases and cash advances...im confused...and have been quite foolish i admit, can you help?

Are you sure they are not just showing the interest (which is likely to be a considerable amount) broken down by category ? The summary box for the card does not show any applicable fees.

You need to tell us when your last card transaction was.

Have you given any continuous payment authorities (CPAs)? Typically CPAs are subscriptions, memberships etc. A bit like a direct debit but on a credit card.

Cash advance fees are applied to gambling transactions. Do you have any online subscriptions on gambling websites? (Not sure if that's possible, but I struggle to see how else you would be getting "cash advance" fees if you've stopped using the card.
