I'm currently on AP arrangement with Barclaycard and have been for 2 years, though I find it odd they have put 3 OK's between the years when payments never changed and then back to AP, I'm guessing that's away to keep me pinned for 6 years continuous?
Anyway I don't know if to default my account, my wife has an IVA due to her ex husband so trying to borrow any money for a mortgage in the near future is pretty much 0 unless very silly %
At the moment I don't know what to do, carry on with AP or Default it now to end it?
Can Barclaycard still default me at anytime while on AP, if there was a way to make a 1 off settlement payment, can they still default me because if they can then it makes sense just to default, or am I incorrect?
Many Thanks

If you don't see a way to get back to making at least minimum payments any time soon, a default would be a better way to go.
They didn't temporarily stop reporting the APs to 'keep you pinned', as the AP marker will remain for 6 years.0
