IHG Rewards Club Visa
The IHG Priority Club Visa has been/is being rebranded as the IHG Rewards Club Visa. Barclaycard (who run it) are currently not accepting new applications. I've searched online and can't find any estimate of when they will. Anyone got any inside information? :)

Halifax clarity the most cost effective way of spending abroad? (Hong Kong)
Hi looking for a bit of help on my parents behalf. They are soon going to Hong Kong and have asked me to help them find a good method of spending money over there/buying currency. I think the best way appears to be the Halifax Clarity Card (seems even better than taking currency). They will be taking some cash too, not…

I just wanted to know, if I cancel the booking with this foreign travel agent now and get a…

Avoiding Interest on Travel Credit Cards
Hello, I have a Travel credit card which I haven't used up until now because it incurs interest and I can't claim interest back for work based expenses. I was wondering, does anyone know, if I overpay on my credit card so that it is in credit when I go away, will I still pay interest? And is this even possible? Thanks in…

Your opinion
Hi, First time poster! I would like peoples opinions on a Credit Card thought I am having. I am coming to the end of my 0% time with First Direct and will look to transfer to a new card (still to apply). Before I do, I was thinking of taking the remainder of the available credit as cash, to pay someone. Then transfer the…

Credit cards and Computer issued summons
Hi, I seem to recall a recent newspaper story about a summons for alleged non-payment of a credit card debt which resulted in a visit to the courts. IIRC the story was that the summons had been issued in error by the credit card company's computer (no idea of the reason) and the credit card company apologised. it also…

Settling a statement before it's due
Hi, Is it generally possible to settle a credit card (including calculating all interest due) before you've received a statement? For example, if I use a Top Card abroad and use it to withdraw cash, can I call them when I get home and pay it all off straight away? In the past, I've waited for the direct debit, but the…
