in Credit cards
The IHG Priority Club Visa has been/is being rebranded as the IHG Rewards Club Visa. Barclaycard (who run it) are currently not accepting new applications. I've searched online and can't find any estimate of when they will.

You might consider the £99 annual fee IHG Rewards Club Premium Visa is worth it for Platinum membership for the life of the card and one free night if you spend at least £10k a year.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

i know the HHonors card was moved from standalone to part of the barclaycard system...so perhaps that is happening to the IHG card?0

Just received an email from IHG about their credit card triple bonus points on first spend, works out as 30000 bonus points, worth £50 vouchers or a free night at some of there hotels.0

Seems pretty poor value to me
Free internet and possible room upgrade?!
The gold Amex looks much better value IMHOYou might consider the £99 annual fee IHG Rewards Club Premium Visa is worth it for Platinum membership for the life of the card and one free night if you spend at least £10k a year. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. You get free internet at any level in IHG Rewards Club, so it's certainly not worth it for that.
The free night certificate on £10k spend works out c.2.5% 'cachback' though (assuming £250 per night) and the current 60k bonus for signing up is potentially worth up to £300 (assuming 0.5p per point), so worth it if you stay in IHG properties!0 -
I guess that I'm just a hotel 'tart' as I tend to use semi-blind bidding (e.g. Priceline) for hotel rooms and therefore rarely stick to a single brand.guesswho2000 wrote: »You get free internet at any level in IHG Rewards Club, so it's certainly not worth it for that.

The biggest benefit of platinum membership is the 50% bonus on points earned for stays.
IHG isn't the best value hotel loyalty scheme but if it fits with the places you travel for work then it is useful.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
