Hi all this is my first post on this website, I recent purchased a bike online and when delivered I realised the frame size did not fit me. I advised the retailer within 2 days of receiving the bike that I would unfortunately have to return it. I returned the bike at my own cost to the retailer, but the retailer refused to…

Credit card insurance
Hi There. All quite new to this. I recently bought some air tickets (no travel insurance) with my Barclaycard. I have never claimed for…

Barclaycard used after being on 2012 website...
I registered for tickets, as did my partner, when they were first advertised on the proper Olympic website. We only managed to get Hockey (I bought those on my account) and Paralympics (he bought those on his account he set up). You have to set up an account on the site to be able to purchase tickets. In the last few days…

Credit Card interest Rates
Why has Virgin which is run by MBNA just increased my interest rate by over 50% from 16.9% to 26.9%. when I ring them they tell me that there is no particular reason but it is in their terms and conditions that they can increase them when they choose. Extremely bizarre in this day and age of low interest rates. Has anybody…

Do Capital One cards work differently to others?
Its my understanding that (and I may be wrong on this) with credit card purchases you usually get (up to) about 6 weeks interest free, i.e. until the payment due date of the bill after the purchase? A bit of background..., In May I did a BT of just voer £600 to my new CapOne card (0% for 6 months). I then paid off over…

Hi, Does anyone know if it is possible to apply for a notice of disassociation if you've separated your finances, but are still married? How long is the application process?
I applied for a credit card with Capital One last week. I called Capital One today to ask for an update and he was unable to help me; instead, he said, I should wait a further 7-10 working days, as although my initial application was successful, it's now being routed through some secondary process for a final decision. I…
