Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could possibly help me? Earlier today I applied for a Capital One Classic Card. At the end of the application it asked me to electronically sign the agreement. Does this mean I have been approved or not? I have not received any emails which I think is a bit strange.
Thanks

I think yes, since you dont get the 7-10 working messageAqua Advance £ 9500 ( Settled ) | BC Platinum Card 25/25 £10500 | 24 studio £1950 | SimplyBe £1800 | Nationwide Flexplus A/C OD £800| Meaningless Noddles score= 3/50

You don't get an email, but when it's all set up they'll email you details of how to access your online account, including temporary password. This generally arrives before the card or PIN.
It looks like you've been accepted, I've had the three ticks and sign agreement for all three Capital One cards I've had in my time, and they've always arrived about a week later0 -
I applied for exactly the same card about a week ago. I am similarly in the dark about whether I've actually been accepted! Got the three ticks too and had to do the sign agreement, so I'm reasonably confident it's all gone okay...
Hopefully, I will get confirmation either way any day now, so I will let you know.Just bought a new house with the help of this site!0 -
I'm not sure if having to digitally sign means you got accepted or not. When I applied my digital signature went through to a blank screen so I gave them a ring. The staff were really helpful & were able to tell me immediately that I had been accepted.0

Little update. Heard back from Capital One, they've almost completed the application, but need identity documents. So, that sounds pretty positive. Will get that sent off today and let you guys know when I hear back...Just bought a new house with the help of this site!0

I just rung for an update. was told i had been accepted and the terms and conditions will be sent in the next 3-5 days. they then said that once it had been returned signed i would then recieve the card and pin in another 7-10 days. that takes the application process to about three weeks. is this normal?0

I thought the T&Cs are what you sign electronically?
With me, I just signed it and then on the next screen it said it would be sent within 7-10 daysThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
yeah me too. think its a bit strange. also when going through security they had my house number down as14 instead of 14a and i am 110% sure i put the correct address down. think i may have to call them again tomorrow to confirm details again0

Well today I finally received the agreement to sign. Just have to send it off in the morning and wait another 7-10 days for the card. This has possibly been the longest application ever.0
