Ok you have beaten me hands down there :rotfl:0

I got 3 ticks and signed an agreement online for their classic card, a few days later I got an email with my online details in and the card and pin followed within a few days after that.
I got the same thing when I applied for their progress card, only no online details email, so I phoned up a week after the initial application to be told I had been declined. So 3 green ticks and signing an electronic agreement doesn't necessarily mean you've been accepted.0 -
I didnt know I had been accepted til I rang a few days after the application. I was told I had been accepted and they told me my limit (£1000). They said there had been a problem with the electronic signature and they have to send out a paper agreement. However the letter today stated that even though I had signed electronically I have to resign as my agreement had been recently reviewed (whatever that means). Anyhow paper work said my card should be with me within 7-10 days.0

Im having a absolute nightmare with Cap One and Im not even a customer yet  2 weeks ago I made an online application. I didnt hear anything after a few days so I gave them a call. I was told my application had been acceptedthey told me waht my limit was (£1000), however they said there had been a problem with my electronic signature and they would send a paper agreement out for me to sign. The letter stated I had been accepted and to sign the paperwork so my card will be with me within 7 days. Today I have now been told my application is going through the final process and a decision will be made in the next 7-10 days?? So what was the letter telling me I had been accepted for last last week and to sign so the card can be with me within 7 days?? I dont think they really know what they are doing and im inclined to cancel the application. Has anyone else had these sorts of problems with them or have I just been unlucky?0

They are normaly fine, although I don't use my card no moreDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I'm in exactly the same situation - applied online Thursday eve and received the message about receiving credit agreement in post in 7-10 working days, sign and return and card will be sent out. Seems a bit odd as Capital One do online 'signing' i know... Perhaps it could be because I was using the mobile version of their website to apply and unlike the main website it may not support signing the agreement online?
Would be interested to hear from anyone who has ha to sign and return a paper agreement to capital one.
How long did it take you to receive the agreement in the post after applying online?
How long did it take from posting the agreement back to actually receiving the card?0 -
Hi, I was just wondering what did happen with regards to being accepted or not as I just applied and got the same message , so unsure if accepted or not0

No agreement ever turned up - got a rejection letter about 5 days later.0

in a bit of a state of shock as I may have been accepted as it got me to electronically sign the agreement and then said that somebody would call to do further security checks in the next 5 - 7 days and that was after do the the three preliminary checks, including initial credit check. I am not holding my breath as my credit rating is very poor and I have applied before to these people and been declined before. Anyway, who knows? I recently managed to get an iphone on contract with O2 so maybe things are looking up ?!0
