Looking for a rewards CC, just under the income threshold?
Hi all, I've been in a job for nearly 4 months now which pays £18k a year. This is my first "real" job since leaving Uni last year, however since Oct 2009 until the start of March I was self employed where I attempted to get my own IT Business off the ground. It didn't work out and I was getting itchy feet so when my…

Using a 0% card for a big purchase.
Hi, This is probably a naive question, but I don't know the answer and I'm sure folks on here do, so here goes. I'm looking to make big purchase which although I could pay for outright, I'd rather spread the cost on. I've seen on here that there's a 0% Credit Card for 18 months. All of the credit cards I've had in the past…

Bit of advice please
Hello, I am here looking for a bit of advice on my banking/credit position. I have held a Natwest account for a few years, and the account was always in good stead (then again I was a teenager so there was little chance for it to go awry) but my wages were always paid into there, and regular purchases made online. I was…

NatWest app for iphones
My current account with NatWest can be managed on my iphone using their current account app. Today I was told my debit card, used for payments, was invalid. I had to delete the app and then reinstall it with new debit card details - a new card issued a week or so ago by, wait for it, NatWest. After reinstalling, the…

First Credit Card?
Hi. I'm 21 and at uni at the moment, 2 years left to go. I've currently got a student account (which has an overdraft of 1500, but I've never used the overdraft, always been in credit) and quite a lot of savings from my gap year(s). I recently got declined for a phone contract because apparently I basically have no credit…

Closing Capital One
I have a Capital One Classic card with a £500 balance. I'm going to it off in full tomorrow and clear the interest on my next statement. I then plan on closing it since I am getting rid of my high interest cards. I was thinking I may be able to close this and in turn get a limit increase on my Capital One Progress. Are…

Hello Folks, A little late in the day we have written to our Credit Cards and asked for a copy of our t&c's and our agreement. Surprising advice from Barclaycard
Last night I phoned up to make a balance transfer as I was told that I had more than one offer on my account, but only 1 would show up online and it was not the one I wanted. Once the transfer was completed and they asked if they could help with anything else I thought I would chance my luck and ask if there are any offers…

Aqua - New Range of Cards & New Website
Just been to log into my Aqua Card and discovered a new website and new range of cards being issued. Classic, Reward and Advance........... Accidental Triple Payment
Going through my Barclaycard statements, I can see I've made 3 payments to my work, in the same day. The only time I ever pay for anything by card there, is when I get lunch - which I certainly never did 3 times in 1 day. So should I be querying this with BC or should I say something about it to work?
