0% balance transfer card- help!!!

Just got a 0% balance transfer card from Santander - the intention was to clear a next account balance of £1800 - but the next card is in my wife's name - Santander wont let me transfer the balance - did not realise that i could not do this just cos the next is not in my name 0 we are married and live at the same address?
I have 0% for purchases for 3 months do i just pay the next off ?? After 3 months i pay 17.9% still cheaper than the 29.9% with next ..??? Advice pleeeeeeze

Santander are one of the few ones that limit BT offers to the main cardholder only.

Do you have another card that would accept a balance transfer from the Next card?

You could then transfer that to Santander. Bear in mind that you will normally have fees for these transactions.

Depending on how long the 0% balance transfer offer is, it might still be worthwhile.
