Rejected Halifax Clarity — Existing Infrequent Customer
I opened a Halifax account a few summers ago because they offered the Visa Electron card — useful to save money on easyJet and RyanAir flights (not anymore). I used it only to book a few flights a year, and transferred the money over from my main account. The Halifax Clarity would be great for me for spending abroad, but I…

Good Old Ryanair!!
I've had a Ryanair Credit Card for 6 months now, and in line with their promotion, my regular use of it has earned me a 'free' flight voucher. I say 'free', I still have to pay for everything including taxes, fees, baggage etc, except the cost of the flight itself. I stored the voucher away until today when I wanted to…

Credit card charges
Hello, I'm currently with capital one (one of the higher interest rate cards!), and I went over by £2.38 and they have charged me £12 for the lovely privilege. Do I have a leg to stand on when it comes to arguing about this..? I don't think it's really fair! It's just a few quid. I know credit card companies look at any…
