credit cards for ex-pats
I am a permanent resident of France, and until recently had a Saga credit card, now Saga have a new credit card provider, and as I live outside the UK they won't renew it. Is there any credit card that I can apply for that doesn't make a charge on foreign transactions? I have a Barclaycard and a British bank account.

I just contacted Halifax credit card to ask for the last 6 years worth of statements so I could see if I can reclaim any charges, I was under the impression it would cost £10 for these however they want to charge me over £100 is this correct because I think that is disgusting? Many Thanks
