Hello I noticed after using the Credit Checker tool on this site that if you've missed repayments in the last 6 months it affects your score But in the "Improve your credit score" article it says missed payments within the last 12 months ( or longer ) can harm your score Which is most likely? Credit card debt clearance?
I had a compnay phone myself last night claiming that if my credit card was taken out before 2007, any balance could be cleared, all for a fee offcourse!! Has any one else had this call or aware that this is at all possible. Personaly I smell a rat!!
