Hi guys,
sorry but this is probably a really stupid question. I am wanting to pay some money to my credit card (nat west) via barclays online banking.
I got to the first question... 'who do i want to pay' - Do I put the name that is on the credit card? or natwest? or something totally different?!
Thanks for any help that comes my way!!

On the back of your CC statement there should be instructions. Usually you need 3 things. The sort code, an 8 digit account number and your credit card number which you put in the reference number section.0 -

I have read the instructions, but it doesn't tell me what to put in the section that is asking who I want to pay, hence asking on here. Cheers for the effort tho0 -
OK, payees name does not matter. As long as the other details are there.0

The name does not really matter-just put in your name. The important bits are the a/c details and your credit card no. in the reference line because it is the reference (card no) that will allow your payment to be correctly credited to you card account.0 -
Cheers!!
I'm gonna go and try it now!0 -
If you put 'natwest' or 'national westminster' in as the 'who', it may give you a list of options, one of which may be related to credit cards. It then gives you a proforma to fill in specific to that payee. It did when I had to make a final payment to BT a few months ago to clear a £1.19 final bill lol.Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009.
