Tip to get o's without spending
Setup an account with jdwilliams, pay 10p by card and just leave it. They wont issue a cheque as it will cost them more and it shows as account active. You can do this with most lenders, if the account is in credit by a small amount the file will stay active.

Credit cards and insurance cover
I recently paid the deposit for my forthcoming holiday by credit card (over £100). There was no credit card charge for this. When I pay the balance, if I pay by credit card, I have to pay 2.5% extra. I intend to pay by cheque. Am I insured for the total amount of the holiday via my credit card? Tony.
