Was it actioned online, by secure message, or by phone?

If you entered wrong details it will probably bounce back as sort code and account number wont match or your 16 digit code wont match your Address or name.

Speed may of the essence here. A secure message might not be read in time.

If he doesn't muster up the energy/courage/inclination your money may be lost - if the 16 digit account number actually exists...if it doesn't it may bounce back. Either way, these issues tend to be protracted.

it was the 8 digit account no i got worng.

On the card its 10 digits with the first 2 being 00 so i typed in the first 00 and missed the last 2 digits
