Does anyone do joint accounts as well? I notice that a lot of the T&C's says that you cant be an existing customer/ever had an account with bank/ever received a bonus etc. Well, if you do your singles first then does this exclude you from doing a joint as you will already have recd a bonus/become a customer etc? My comparison of banking apps (Monzo, Starling, Lloyds, Natwest and others)
I made a table
comparing some of the features of the most common banking apps. It is not an
exhaustive list - I did for myself, other people will have different priorities
/ preferences. I use an Android phone. 1 that's my
understanding but I haven't tried myself 2 Lloyds customer
support said yes, but when I opened the…

Paypal payments linked to bank account - purchases / timescale?
Looking for some clarification for future ref. My paypal account has always been linked to my debit card, but I've recently added a bank account (different to debit card bank). If I made a purchase using the bank account option, is there a delay compared to payments made via linked debit card? I'm sure I've read somewhere…

Random Bank Giro Credit
I've received a random bank giro credit of £550 and even my bank don't know who it's from. We just have a reference number but no name. Ref J246E00A00J3NSPB PB3187721205 - it doesn't give any clues who it's from. Any ideas?

Can my accountant be "read only" on business bank account?

Switching service guarantee and DD
If after you do a full switch using the switching service any DD fail who do you contact? Particularly as nowadays it’s seems impossible to actually talk to a real person! One of these DD is with a credit card company who I know love to slap on non payment charges at the drop of a hat. So if that should fail is it better…

Best bank account with no app-bothering and minimal 2FA?
I'm finally fed up with Lloyds. The only way to contact them is to wait on the phone for ages or message them from their app. I do not want to use an app, I want to use my PC. Also every time I sign in now they want to go through the 2FA nonsense where they text my phone. It started with happening occasionally and now it's…

Virgin Money Cashback DDs
My cashback is tracked at almost the full £160, but I’ve yet to withdraw it to the account. Do I need to keep the DDs that were included in the switch active on the account seeing as I’ve already earned the cashback? I wanted to move them to my bills account for ease.

BT Direct Debit Fraud
I’m hoping for some advice. BT supplies our internet. However, unknowingly to us a second BT account was set up in April 2021 which has been debiting £21.99 from our account every month. We stupidly haven’t realised this until last month when we decided to crunch some numbers in light of the cost of living crisis. We’ve…

TSB - second current account, separate online account - how to merge into the old one?
I have TSB current account, plus regular saver, plus some redundant saving accounts.
