I am looking to receive a small amount of money from my friend in the Phillipines.
It will equate to around £20, which is approx 1,200 peso.
What is the best way for them to send me the money?
Thank you

Not the usual ways through online banking or by certified cheque as either one of those will likely cost more than the £20.
Not sure if there's a way to credit via paypal?
I'm looking at moving some money via Wise which comes highly recommended but have been advised by 2 banks with whom I have accounts that there will be a minimum £7 charge to receive money from a foreign source even if it is already in GBP.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Your friend can buy a £20 note from a money changer and mail it to you.
Evolution, not revolution1 -
PayPal might work or just get them to buy you an Amazon voucher or something.

Wouldn't Paypal be easiest then, TheTrainLine accept payment by Paypal.

The way Wise operates you will receive money from their UK account. However Wise is no good for the OP as they don't send PHP.Brie said:Not the usual ways through online banking or by certified cheque as either one of those will likely cost more than the £20.
