Transferring euros to UK bank account
We have sold our house abroad and need to transfer a large-ish amount of Euros to the UK. I've seen Transferwise recommended on this Forum and have just opened an account (awaiting authorisation). NB; our Euro account is in Greece and capital controls mean we can't transfer via our usual currency broker - the money will be…

Good morning. I awoke this morning to find out that I had nil in my account after 28 transactions were made to my account yesterday. These transactions were all made at boohoo.com ranging from £25 to £48 each. I am currently with Bank of Scotland and contacted them immediately telling them that these were fraudulent…

Make CHAPS payments online.
It seems that most personal current accounts require CHAPS payments to be set up by phone, or at a branch. Which banks' personal current accounts allow CHAPS payments to be made online without requiring any telephone contact?

Anyone successfully switched joint TSB account to Monzo?
Hi, Signed up to Monzo to help with budgeting out joint account spending, just realised they don't support joint account switches though some say on the community forum it is possible. Has anyone managed to do this from a joint TSB account, based on the ridiculous experience setting up our TSB account in the first place I…

Google Pay Send coming to UK?
Google Pay was updated on my phone a couple of days ago, and I notice a new option under Settings saying "Sending Money" - but is greyed out for now. I know friends in the US have had this for a while (and this has been available here using the web interface). Be a nice way of sending ad hoc payments when it comes!

Impossible to get a student credit card with my income
Hello, I am looking for a student credit card but my income of around £5000 is restrictive and is causing problems with eligibility. I have not formally applied for any credit cards yet.
