Advice on opening second bank account for bills, direct debits etc.
I am interested in opening a second - basic - back account from which to pay monthly bills by DD and standing order. I am not able to apply for Co-operative's Cash Minder account as my current account is with the Coop and not sure if I'm eligible for Barclays Basic Account as I'd be eligible to open a current account with…

DD's
Hi everyone. First post...be kind! Thinking about opening a Clydesdale Current Account for the £150 incentive bonus. I need to transfer 2 DD's. Problem is, all my DD's are spoken for, and to transfer them, I'd be losing out elsewhere. Does anyone know of a easy (read cheap) way to 'conjure up' 2 DD's? TIA!

Who is doing the best switch?
I have a couple of Santander accounts - a 123 joint account for OH and I, and an old 123 current account for just me. I stick most of my pay into our joint as its the main bill paying account, and I send more money into an E Saver for our wedding. Which now means the 123 account for just me isn't providing any real value…
