I have Australian Dollars in an AUD account in a Turkish bank (long story). Can I open an AUD account in any UK bank so I can send it from my Turkish AUD account to the UK one?

Tesco Savings
Just transferred some money from Internet saver to a current account - no probs but tried to transfer from my Instant access and got 'unable to complete transaction at this time' (or wording simlar.....) Logged out and back in again.....same Cleared funds are there and 'available' Anyone else had similar probs?
